Paws on the Ground brings together three things that mean a lot to us at Barkley Collective: dogs, first responders, and community.

As a paramedic and the founder of Barkley Collective, I’ve seen firsthand how strong the first responder community can be, and how important the bond with our dogs can be after a difficult day. That’s why Paws on the Ground’s mission feels so closely aligned with ours.

POTG is a volunteer-run organization that works alongside local rescues and shelters to support animals in need, promote fostering and adoption, strengthen connections between first responders and the communities they serve, and provide aspiring first responders with meaningful volunteer opportunities.

Through this collaboration, a portion of proceeds from Barkley Collective will be donated directly to Paws on the Ground to help support their work with local rescues, shelters, animal care, community initiatives, and the animals still waiting for their forever homes.

For us, this partnership is about more than dogs. It’s about supporting the people who serve our communities, helping animals who need us, and bringing people together through something we all understand: the bond between people and their dogs.
